1. How did Wartime come together as a band?
Yann plays guitar and has many heavy riffs. He contacted us and he also plays drums. He booked some shows with many bands before us.

We don’t know, but Yann has many contacts and is involved in booking in QC.
3. Who are Wartime’s major influences?
Firstblood, 100 Demons, Hoods, Death Before Dishonor, Gods Hate, Kublai Khan, Swear to God, Hatebreed, Madball and so many other bands we love.
4. What are some of Wartime’s standout moments during live performances?
We played with the old band A Perfect Murder and this year we had a small tour with Edict and Pure Bliss. Joe Krewko, the former singer of Bury Your Dead, joined us on stage to play Mosh N Roll with us – the intro from Bury Your Dead.
5. Which other bands do Wartime dream of sharing the stage with?
Lionheart, Chain Gang, Two Piece, Piss Ant, Dbloc, Merauder and many towns in the world.
6. How has Wartime’s music evolved over the years?
At the beginning we just played cover songs and it was hard for us since 2004 because we had other projects before, but now we focus only on WARTIME.

Liberty, live free or die, friendship, unity scene, we’re not alone.
8. How does Wartime balance aggression and vulnerability in their music?
Yann writes the riffs and all the patterns for the sound and if they don’t fit the band he comes back with other patterns. He’s a machine guy.

Some people tell us we help them during hard times in life and by going to our shows they discover some bands because of us.

Every Friday we meet and have a good time. We stay in contact during the week and we talk about good spots for shows and our ideas.
