Hardcore Cares France: Saving Lives Together.

We had the opportunity to have an interesting and educational interview with Hardcore Cares to present the organization combining hardcore music bands like Ways, Drops, Locomuerte, Ianwill and mores, with animal protection in France, playing a crucial role. With No, we discussed human behavior towards animals, awareness, community strategies, and a multitude of points related to their organization, whose cause remains important to us at Loyalcore.

 1. Having existed for over ten years, you must have witnessed some unfriendly treatment towards animals. In 2024, do you see a positive change in human behavior towards animals?

What stands out, from our point of view, is that the public is better informed than 10 years ago about the needs of domestic animals, they are also informed by medias about the treatment of species used for food or entertainment. Those who don't know what's going on at all are really not interested in their fate and they're often the ones who contribute to the abuse. Unfortunately, the human population is increasing and the proportion of abuse or abandonment is still far too high anyway...

 2. How did the public receive the festival celebrating Hardcore Cares France's tenth anniversary last April, and how did the evening unfold with the various bands?

It was really incredible, we all had a great evening (the HCCF team anyway) and the feedback from the bands and the audience was very positive. This allowed us to establish a connection between the public and the animal protection associations present. It was also important for us that bands meet people acting everyday to help animals, it gives even more meaning to their support.

 3. What have been the main achievements of Hardcore Cares France since its inception?

These are not grandiose things but regular little help above all, paying veterinary bills, collecting food, helping to spread information messages or announcements of needs in foster families.

We try to be a real long-term support for our partner animal protection associations and I think that's what we're doing best.

On the music side, we're very proud when bands join us, making them want to commit to the animal cause is already a success.

 4. What strategies does Hardcore Cares France employ to raise public awareness about animal welfare?

We like to share articles that inform about best practices, but we are mostly in the oral exchange with the members of the Metal/ Hardcore community that we meet on our stands.

We wanna raise awareness by being human and not by judging or insulting, we quickly notice that we reach more easily people who make errors of judgment or appreciation by getting them to change their point of view rather than by imposing this change on them.

We were all ignorant before we were educated, so we leave violence in the pit and on stage and to change things with the audience we focus on education and constructive exchange.

On stage, bands can touch the audience with messages that will make them interested in all this, and it's already a lot to show that it matters to them.

 5. How does the organization involve the hardcore community in its animal welfare efforts?

We try to get the message across that anyone can help, regardless of the time available or resources. A little time given to a local shelter, a blanket or a bag of kibble donated during a collection helps... But sharing an ad from time to time on your networks to help an animal find a family, or using your professional network to help raise funds, creating a piece of art to auction off and make a donation, there are plenty of ways to help and we always find a way to leverage a member of that community who would like to help. Possibilities are as countless as subjects regarding animal protection.

 6. What are the current projects of Hardcore Cares France, and how can one participate?

In 2025, we would like to highlight the tattoo artists who support us every year. A project of very big tattoo days to raise funds is being considered and would be set up in several cities in France. We are therefore looking for volunteers and new members in the association to help us set up this project.

We have also been working for quite some time to create a network of professionals (veterinarians, educators, behaviorists, ethologists, etc.) who are sensitive and well aware to the difficulties encountered by abandoned, mistreated or injured animals. Some share their know-how in a more accessible way when it comes to adopted animals or cat sterilization campaigns, for example.

We're always looking for new contacts to help our partner associations in need or adoptive families.

 7. How does the organization handle emergency cases involving distressed animals?

We analyze the situation by collecting as much information as possible about the animal and the context.

Depending on the case, we contact one association or another for care, but sometimes we take the animals ourselves in emergency as a relay, when the situation requires it.

Hardcore cares is above all a network of well-intentioned people, so when you have to use solidarity to help an animal, we shake up all this little world and try to find the best solution.

 8. What are the major challenges the organization faces, and how does it plan to overcome them?

The more time passes, the more complicated it becomes to take care of animals in need. Animal protection associations are saturated all year round, as are shelters. The hardest thing is not finding a solution when you are asked for help. We're afraid that it will not get better until decisions at the government level are taken. We'll continue to try and deal with each event on a case-by-case basis, as do all those who act in the best interests of animals.

To answer this question, the biggest challenge is not to despair and sink with each new injustice suffered by them. Music, family, friends and good deeds, but also tons of hugs from furry friends help to overcome this.

 9. How does Hardcore Cares France measure the impact of its actions on animal protection and well-being?

Measuring impact is challenging, but we remain committed to our values and do our utmost. While it's not possible to assist everyone, and claiming so would be presumptuous, the individuals we have helped stand as evidence of our usefulness. Moreover, the increase in donations and interactions with the community reassures us that we are heading in the right direction and encourages us to keep advancing.

This global mobilization of HCCF, which builds a community by supporting a cause with contagious sensitivity, is just as rewarding as what some people can do for humans, sometimes. We strongly believe that organizations of this kind should have the support, at least of all pet owners and even governmental support. We strongly support the growth of this movement with sincere solidarity for this organization. And we hope that our readers can provide favorable support for Hardcore Cares France and make a difference for saving animal life. We therefore suggest that you either make a donation to one of their fundraising campaigns on Facebook or buy one of their lovely t-shirts. All for the cause.
