When we started this project last January, we wanted to offer what excited us when we were teenagers—a magazine with a compilation to discover bands and delve deeper into hardcore culture. Unfortunately, we encountered problems and let's say we had to modernize and offer a blog with a web compilation instead. Twelve bands were selected from about thirty submissions. A fine selection of hardcore and metalcore bands from all around the world. So here it is, at last, this compilation via our Bandcamp. And just so you know, we're already working on our second compilation, scheduled for July 2024.
Without a doubt, SmokeBomb was the quickest to throw their hat in the ring for a spot on our compilation. The Belgian ensemble caught our attention with their dynamic blend of hip-hop and hardcore punk, a mix that's both energetic and enthralling. We were keen on featuring one of their tracks on our record. Following them, Death Note Silence, Stuck In Neutral, Born Infected and Wartime joined the lineup. As submissions trickled in, we crafted a robust and flavorful musical anthology.
